On behalf of 780longboarding.com, I would love to thank everyone who came out and participated, volunteered, and spectated.
Your support and contributions to this event has been one of the most pivotal points in Edmonton's longboarding scene, as well as beyond that. After all it was the first ever fully sanctioned long distance endurance skateboard race CANADA has ever seen. We have recieved more media coverage than the Grand Prix and many more massive scale events and every bit of it was worth it. We fully would like to thank our volunteers especially, because without them, none of this would have been possible.
We would like to furthermore thank every local shop, longboarding company, skate shop that donated us swag that we got the pleasure of giving away. We hope to work with the community again and again for more future rad events such as the one that you have witnessed today on August 18 2007. Cheers.
